“Sideline” – This will be our call to iniate a movement off the sideline from the handlers.
Vertical
This animation goes over the different options we could look to hit using the sideline pattern.
1 – Dump is open and the pass is immediately thrown to the central handler. Continuation – Front of Stack
2 – The dump is not open and waits to be iniated with a fake. They get free up the line. Continutation – Back of Stack
3 – The dump is iniated with a fake, are not free up the line but is free for a bounce 7 across the handler. Continuation – Front of Stack
4 – The dump is iniated with a fake, is marked up the line but is very free to turn into the back field. Continuation – Front of Stack
5 – The dump is iniated with a fake, are not free up the line and bounce across on a 7. The Front of Stack becomes the next reset. Continuation – Initial Dump
Horizontal
This animation goes over the different options we could look to hit using the sideline pattern from a horizontal stack (These will be the same played from a split side.
We will always look to initate by clearing the initial sideline cutter. If this cutter is free then we can of course just hit this option and continue as normal even during a sideline call.
